If you have to travel frequently while you are still an undischarged bankrupt, you may apply for block periods of travel either for three or six months. Whether your trustee approves the application depends on a few considerations such as whether you are regular in the payment of your monthly contributions, the reason(s) for the proposed travel (e.g. for overseas employments), and the level of co-operation that you provide to the trustee. If the application is approved, you may travel as frequently as you wish during that period. Please submit all applications for your travel through our travel application e-service website for your trustee's consideration. You should only travel after you have been informed by your trustee of the approval granted.
If you require legal aid or advice, you can come to the Bureau during our office hours to make an application. Please bring along your Identity Card for the registration. Alternatively, you can make an online application here for selected subject matters.
If you are a minor (i.e. a person below 21 years of age), your parent or guardian must apply on your behalf.
