The posting results of your application are scheduled to be released on Tuesday, 4 February 2020. The list of Important Dates for 2020 JAE can be found here. Posting results will be released through the following modes:
You will be posted to a course based on merit according to your net aggregate scores (taking into account the various bonus points for which you are eligible for). Applicants with better net aggregate scores will be considered for admission first, subject to the availability of vacancies in the selected course. If there are no vacancies, the applicant will be considered for their next choice course. In situations where there are two or more applicants with the same net aggregate score vying for the last place in a course, they will be posted based on their citizenship status in the order of Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents and then International Students. If there is still a tie, for example between two Singapore Citizens with the same net aggregate score, the one with the better gross aggregate score will be posted to the course first. If there is still a tie between the two citizens with the same gross aggregate scores, posting to the course will be determined by a computerised ballot where each candidate is given an equal opportunity. For posting to Nanyang Polytechnic's Diploma in Nursing (C97) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Diploma in Nursing (N69), interest is considered too. Priority will be given to eligible applicants (i.e. met the minimum entry requirements) who have indicated these courses as their first choice. The aggregate computation for admission to a Junior College (JC), Millennia Institute (MI), Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is as follows:
